here my next problem. i drove now 59km and i have the problem that my crankshaft goes 0,3mm axial.
i will take appart the engine and make a bushing for the crankshaft bearing.
the tolerances were to less because i assambled the engine so often to check if everything fits good.that is the problem of a prototype 😀
so tomorrow take everything apart and by the way i can modify the cooling system.
because when i drive evenly 70-80 with very low throttle the heat is getting up again over 100°Ci think the waterpump has to pump more water.

i think the cooler is not the best place and maybe not big enough.jesterday i assembled everything together and now it runs fine.
i also made a cover for the electric. not the beatifulst but it works.
after the vct i can make a nicer onefrom tomorrow on it time for the back bag holder. making a nice back fender for the bike sign and close the hole engine frame so that it isnt so noisy 😀

jeah the cooling is still a problem. i have a solution only for the tour but for later i have to make a better solution. you will see it on friday.
i will mount a “Rippenrohr” which is made out of stainless steel and 25cm long.

I know you will set it on max 😛
Its not a lean gas mixture because your head and piston where pretty black. How is the sparkplug showing ? and have you used the right sparkplug ?
Or maybe it is just a little overheating because of the break-in period, when cilinder and piston are becomming smooth the heat will go lower but I think its not the problem.I will think with Ya

sparkplug is a ngk with 8 heat number, so its pretty cold, maybe a bit too cold because the last one died a bit to early.
The zylinder looks pretty smooth from the inside. its almost driven for more than 100km.
the one and only point which i didnt changed is the waterpump.
maybe its that.
you know what, there is not enough time to check everything.
if i will cook up i have to quit the vct and i didnt reach my goal.
but i think i will find a solution 🙂 the worst case is that i have to put water over the watercooler while driving haha30 mei 2018 om 14:51 #775014*Ik think that the cooler is big enuf but the air cant flow.
The way i see it, is that de radiator is now not bigger then the exit openings.*And the frond of the hood is working like a spoiler, so at higher speed only the half of the radiator is in the wind.
* you can flow all nipples for better flow.

my tank is leaking at one point where the gas tap is weldet. it was the wrong material, but it will work fine with some silikon hehemy garage is looking like a bomb explodes, no time at all to clean up for more than 3 month.
i can tell you im so happy that its almost ready.
some things have to rebuild because it was made to fast and the quality is not that as i want.here some pics of the moped and my garage
