Hi Henning,
Is it you who will sell the Giannelli (street) exhaust on ebay? Do you perhaps know if it is originally intended for Ciao or maybe it’s welded to fit? The silencer certainly looks like it is from an old Giannelli fire. Also how does it perform?14 november 2011 om 06:18 #490986concerning your ciao of 1969: is it the original front wheel? Looks cool without brake!
14 november 2011 om 10:39 #490990the frontwheel is original! ๐
no i sold the gianelli exaust to an member of pmt.
performing was so far as i remeber in the upper rmps good, a bit like calibrata but not so hard. buts is long time ago.

is this the original yellow color?14 november 2011 om 16:46 #490995No original color. Someone painted it in the 90s I think, not perfect but so I dont will be so angry when a scratch will come.
The red seat is original, I had a time ago another Ciao, is a specialversion build only in 1985 as far as I know:
Here is a old video from this ciao:

in the future I would like to test some exaust and so on let see what the engine can do.

23 mei 2012 om 10:15 #486883nice ciao, your belt looks 2 small on the last picture

Ciao Tuner!!hi,
My setup need some adjustment, the Calibrata isnt fitting really well on my ciao. The problem ist that the exaust is sharping a little on the edge.. and so I cant stick the calibrata perfectly into the flange..
Today I tested the simonini racing (thx to hansi), and holy …. was that loud! I have to replace the “demperwol?”.
My gearing broke down at the bbq meeting and I bought a new malossi gear which will come into the frame the next time.
Then I have to change some other things. Maybe I will put some new picture on vespa-ciao.nl ๐here some pictures:
And if someone is interested, here pictures of the rv engine:

Here my other moped, a ciao sc ’77 from italia:

19 oktober 2012 om 16:45 #460324Hansieb likes his exhausts loud. ๐
Anyway the Simo Racing should be a great exhaust on your setup, but the Calibrata should be outperform the Racing.
