There is no such thing as better.

Both have their own performance and reasons to buy.

Maybe a bit more context is handy..?

What setup do you have in mind?

They need different carters, and different exaust,s to performe at best.

On a standard tuned carter the 43DR runs about 70km to 80 at best.
And it wil only cost you 75,- euro,s

    The 46polinie needs a speed engine($$$$$$) or a evo engine($$$$$$$$$$$$$).
and wil run 80km with a good exaust.
Bit more power at low rpm.

The DR 43 is a ferry good cilinder, and lasts forever.
The 46mm polinie is also good, but has a piston that wil sometime,s crack.

I would take te DR43MM for its power, price, and durability.
And take the 46 polinie for its power and potential, fore if you tune it well, it can become realy fast.

I have tested the Polini 46 mm and the DR 43 mm on the same moped with the same setup. The difference is small, the DR is better at over revving than the Polini, i had a little higher topspeed with the DR. The Polini has more power all over the whole range otherwise, but only a small amount.

If you have an original engine case, i would save the money and extra work to fit the larger cylinder, and go with the DR.

    regards, Carsten
